Local Retail Merchandiser - Halfmoon, New York - Overnight Shift
About The Position
SASR Workforce Solutions is seeking to expand its team by hiring local merchandisers in or around Ephrata, Pennsylvania. The ideal candidates will be reliable, punctual, and possess a collaborative spirit. As a crucial member of the SASR team, you will be expected to represent the company professionally, demonstrate respect towards clients and customers, and work alongside fellow team members to complete projects on time and within budget. Projects typically last an average of 14 weeks and involve teams of 17-34 people working inside a retail store under the direction and oversight of a SASR Leader.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site (from home or hotel)
- Ability to take direction and work within a team, either large or small
- Ability to read and understand planograms
- Prior knowledge of basic merchandising
Responsibilities
- Move gondolas and various fixtures using move equipment (skates, scorpions, etc.)
- Tear down and build various fixtures within a retail store
- Re-merchandise sections that have been moved with new modulars, as well as merchandise newly built sections of the store
- Reset shelves, peg hooks, and various merchandising fixtures and systems to updated planograms/modulars
- Set tags to sections according to modulars
- Merchandise sections, maintain top stock and back stock appropriately per guidelines
- Fill end caps and displays with seasonably correct items
- Place and/or set displays and runs as appropriate to plan and department
