About The Position
Universal Logistics is seeking Local & Regional CDL A Drivers for immediate career opportunities in Smyrna, TN. This role offers increased rates and the chance to be part of a dynamic team providing customized transportation and logistics solutions. Drivers will have the opportunity to be home daily and weekly. The company is looking for second shift and overnight drivers, with a launch time of 5pm-7pm. The position involves running lanes within TN and to KY, SC, NC, AL, and MO, servicing clients such as FCA, Nissan, Ford, and GM. The pay structure includes a per-mile rate that increases with years of service, and an additional hourly rate for detention and wait times. All three shifts are available, with a primary focus on second shift openings.
Requirements
- Must have a CDL Class A License.
- CDL A (Preferred)
- Driving: 6 months (Preferred)
- Must have a Class A CDL and 120 hours completed at a driving institution (for training program).
