About The Position
Universal Logistics is a leading provider of customized transportation and logistics solutions, offering a comprehensive suite of services including transportation, value-added, intermodal, and specialized services utilized throughout entire supply chains. Universal has immediate career opportunities for Local & Regional CDL A Drivers. The company is looking for second shift and overnight drivers, with all three shifts available (mostly 2nd shift with limited 1st shift openings). Drivers will operate within TN and other states like KY, SC, NC, AL, and MO, serving clients such as FCA, Nissan, Ford, and GM. The role offers increased rates and opportunities to be home daily and weekly.
Requirements
- MUST HAVE a CDL Class A License
- 6 months of driving experience (Preferred)
- Completion of 120 hours at a driving institution (if no experience)
Responsibilities
- Operate local and regional CDL A routes
- Drive lanes within Tennessee and to surrounding states including Kentucky, South Carolina, North Carolina, Alabama, and Missouri
- Transport goods for clients such as FCA, Nissan, Ford, and GM
- Work various shifts, including second shift and overnight
