PapaSouth Florida (Broward and Palm Beach Counties), FL
Onsite

About The Position

Papa is seeking a Local Outreach & Business Development Representative to build its direct-to-consumer (DTC) referral channel, starting in South Florida. This field-based role focuses on developing referral partnerships with organizations and professionals that influence senior decisions about in-home support. Key partners include senior-specialized realtors, senior transitions specialists, physical therapy and rehab practices, faith-based organizations, aging-services NGOs and coalitions, primary care providers, independent living communities, local pharmacies, and local senior-focused content creators. The role involves 60% field engagement (site visits, meetings, events), 30% preparation and follow-up (CRM, communications, scheduling), and 10% reporting and strategy. Success requires comfort collaborating with seniors and professionals, building trust in a regulated environment, self-management, and a commitment to in-person engagement. The representative will also iterate on the local referral playbook based on field performance.

Requirements

  • Reside in or within commutable distance to Broward and/or Palm Beach County.
  • Familiarity with the local geography, neighborhoods, and senior-services community is strongly preferred.
  • Comfort interacting with seniors and senior-adjacent professionals; ability to establish trust and connect authentically with diverse groups.
  • Ability to effectively conduct frequent, face-to-face relationship building across the assigned territory.
  • Ability to accurately answer detailed questions regarding caregiver vetting, consistency, and Papa’s compliance standards.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to independently manage a daily calendar, outreach schedules, and CRM documentation.
  • Strong written, verbal, or assistive-technology-supported communication skills. Ability to effectively deliver short educational presentations to small groups.
  • Ability to utilize CRM tools to extract lists, summarize performance data, and identify market trends.
  • Proficiency with office productivity software, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and GSuite.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Ability to reliably travel daily throughout the assigned geographic territory (Broward and Palm Beach Counties) to conduct site visits, facilitate drop-in meetings, and transport necessary marketing materials and collateral to events.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of physical and energetic presence during active field-based work (comprising 60% of the role), including standing, moving, or navigating various community venues, expos, and partner offices for extended periods.
  • Ability to clearly and persuasively articulate company values, deliver educational presentations, and address complex regulatory questions to diverse audiences—including healthcare providers, seniors, and community leaders—via verbal, written, or assistive-technology-supported communication methods.
  • Ability to independently plan, prioritize, and manage a fluid daily calendar with minimal direct supervision; must possess the mental agility to quickly pivot strategies based on field observations and analyze data trends within a CRM.
  • Strong psychological and interpersonal resilience required to handle cold outreach, build immediate trust in regulated environments, and maintain a consistent, patient, and professional demeanor when collaborating with seniors and senior-adjacent professionals.
  • Ability to effectively operate office productivity software (GSuite/Microsoft Office) and manage digital tracking systems, requiring the mental focus to transition smoothly between active field relationship-building and detailed, data-driven follow-up documentation.
