About The Position

This role is responsible for managing, supporting, and maintaining various IT and plant floor systems. The Local Network Manager will work with end-users to propose and implement new hardware and software solutions, test modifications, and provide diagnostics for network, hardware, and software issues. The position also involves automating plant processes, communicating system outages, and performing miscellaneous job-related duties.

Requirements

  • 3 years of related experience
  • Proficient in reading and writing ladder logic plc program
  • Proficient in graphics packages / HMI interface
  • Fundamental understanding of VLANs
  • Fundamental understanding of Citrix desktop
  • Server, Windows 10, Office 2016
  • Cisco Network Switch cabling, connectivity, configurations, and troubleshooting
  • Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Must have strong customer support abilities
  • Must be willing to work in a plant / industrial environment
  • Must be willing to travel as required to support additional plant

Nice To Haves

  • Phone systems experience desirable, but not required
  • MCSE Certification is a plus, but not required
  • A+ Certification is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Manage, support, and maintain vendor access requests
  • Manage, support, and maintain all computer/network components including servers, network equipment, wireless access points, cabling, printers, and workstations
  • Manage, support, and maintain security camera systems
  • Manage, support, and maintain door readers and controller systems
  • Manage, support, and maintain phone systems
  • Manage, support, and maintain all Production Floor / Plant Floor Systems
  • Work with end-users proposing new hardware and software solutions
  • Test all hardware and software modifications before they are introduced into production
  • Provide hardware and software diagnostics for network, hardware, and software issues
  • Seek out opportunities to automate plant processes
  • Implement automated solutions plant-wide
  • Communicate Plant Systems Outages and Notices
  • Analyze software issues, installation, and testing of applications software/patches
  • Provide on-call support for complex software problems and issues
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
