About The Position

Now hiring Class A CDL drivers for a local intermodal account. Intermodal drivers enjoy express access railyard gates, onsite maintenance and 100% company owned equipment. Driver will make deliveries of product in rail containers from the ramp/terminal/rail yards in South Gate, CA to customers throughout Southern CA. This is a no-touch freight position. Drivers in this position over the last six to twelve months have averaged annualized earnings of $83,000.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 3 months recent tractor trailer experience
• Comprehensive drug screening required
• Hiring Radius: within a 35 mile radius of South Gate, CA 90280

• Hazmat endorsement (extra pay available for hazmat loads)

Responsibilities

• Make deliveries of product in rail containers from the ramp/terminal/rail yards in South Gate, CA to customers throughout Southern CA.
• Operate a Class A CDL tractor trailer.
• Work a schedule of Friday - Tuesday, with a start time between 2pm-7pm.
• Average 10-12 hours per day.
• Have a 6th day available for overtime for extra income.
• Work on Thanksgiving & Christmas days (optional).
