About The Position
Comprehensive Logistics (CLI) is seeking experienced CDL Class A Drivers for a local, home-daily position. This role involves live load/unload, no-touch freight, and operates on an afternoon shift starting at 3:30 pm. Drivers will be part of a customer-centric logistics operation powered by cutting-edge technology, focusing on high-performance and reliability in inbound-to-manufacturing logistics.
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A driver’s license
- 2+ years of recent and verifiable tractor/trailer experience
- Familiarity with switching operations
- Safe, dependable, and professional driving record and history
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
- Must be at least 21 years of age
Responsibilities
- Maintains a CDL Class A driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Operates a combination tractor trailer according to FMCSA regulations
- Conducts daily pre- and post-trip inspections
- Transports load safely in a timely manner over required routes
- Communicates with dispatcher/coordinator for load assignments and updates
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and load safety protocols
