About The Position

Avangrid's 2-Year Local Graduate Rotational Program provides recent graduates with exposure, experience, and engagement across the organization through three rotational assignments completed over approximately two years. Participants complete rotational experiences every 6 to 9 months, contribute to projects that support safe and reliable energy services, and build technical, business, and leadership capabilities. The program includes mentorship, networking, professional development, and cross functional collaboration. Opportunities are aligned to business needs and designed to prepare participants for long term careers within Avangrid. Positions may be located in Connecticut, New York, Maine, or other participating Avangrid locations based on business needs. A one-time relocation benefit may be available for eligible candidates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements.
  • Ability to work from assigned Avangrid locations participating in the rotational program.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and solve business or technical problems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in team environments.
  • Communication skills that support cross functional partnership.

Nice To Haves

  • GPA of 3.2 or higher.
  • Technology, analytics, or related internship experience.
  • Exposure to programming, automation, visualization, data analytics, or business intelligence tools.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in rotational assignments across technology, analytics, digital, and operational support functions.
  • Support data analysis, reporting, business intelligence, and performance measurement activities.
  • Assist with digital transformation, automation, and technology improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with technical and business teams on project assignments.
  • Evaluate data and system information to support operational decision making.
  • Contribute to governance, compliance, cybersecurity, or technology controls as applicable.
  • Support process improvement efforts designed to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
