About The Position

TForce Freight is seeking a reliable, safety- and customer-focused Local Driver to join its logistics team. The driver operates a tractor and trailer to transport freight safely and efficiently, delivering shipments accurately and on time. The role represents TForce Freight to customers by providing a positive, helpful, and professional experience. The listed pay rate is $30.00 per hour. Applicants must provide a complete 10-year employment history on the application in accordance with FMCSA regulations.

Requirements

Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) in the resident state.
Have Hazmat, tanker, and doubles endorsements.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Meet all DOT and company requirements.
Be able to safely perform essential job functions without obvious risk of injury to oneself or coworkers.
Be able to read, write, and speak English.
Be a U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S.
Demonstrate strong organizational and time-management skills.
Have an impeccable customer-service orientation and dedication.
Provide a complete 10-year employment history on the application in accordance with FMCSA regulations.

Responsibilities

Operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods safely and efficiently.
Ensure cargo is properly loaded and secured before departure.
Provide excellent customer service, make timely deliveries, and address customer inquiries or concerns.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
Follow local, state, and federal transportation regulations and safety protocols.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes traveled, and cargo conditions.
Communicate with dispatch management about schedules, delays, and transportation issues.
