About The Position

TForce Freight is seeking a reliable, safety- and customer-focused Local Driver to join its logistics team. The role is responsible for safely operating a tractor and trailer to deliver freight to customers accurately and on time, while representing TForce Freight with a positive, helpful, and professional attitude. The position pays $27.50 per hour. Applicants must provide a complete 10-year employment history on the application in accordance with FMCSA regulations.

Requirements

Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) in the resident state.
Hazmat, tanker, and doubles endorsements.
At least 21 years of age.
Meet all DOT and company requirements.
Be able to perform essential job functions safely without an obvious risk of injury to oneself or coworkers.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
U.S. citizenship or authorization to work in the United States.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Impeccable customer service and dedication.
Provide a complete 10-year employment history on the application in accordance with FMCSA regulations.

Responsibilities

Operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods to various locations safely and efficiently.
Ensure cargo is properly loaded and secured before departure.
Provide excellent customer service by making timely deliveries and handling customer inquiries or concerns.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
Follow local, state, and federal transportation regulations and safety protocols.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes traveled, and cargo conditions.
Communicate with dispatch management about schedules, delays, and transportation issues.
