Local Delivery Driver
About The Position
Local manufacturer looking for a 1st shift (7:00am-3:30pm) driver. Assist in shipping to prepare and palletize daily shipments. Will assist with other production tasks such as assembly when no deliveries are needed. Use various forklifts to load and unload both inbound and outbound freight. Ability to record applicable freight information on a bill of lading. Must have proven experience driving forklifts and straight trucks up to 26ft in various traffic and weather conditions. Will utilize company straight truck to make local deliveries and pickups. No over the road driving needed. Must have a valid NYS Driver's License. Must pass a D.O.T. physical, drug test and be 21+. Starting pay commensurate with experience.
