About The Position

This role involves delivering products to customers, making an average of 10-12 stops per day. The driver will be responsible for touching freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service. Key duties include accurately counting and recording product quantities and styles delivered and picked up, completing hazardous material shipping orders in accordance with DOT regulations, and conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections. The driver is also expected to identify the need for timely vehicle repairs and maintenance and build strong relationships with internal and external customers to meet business and customer goals. Continuous learning about Linde's business operations and success is also a part of the role to aid in organizational growth.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Proficiency in reading and writing in English.
Two (2) years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from a Truck Driving School.
Valid Class A or B CDL.
Must be 21 years or older.
Currently have a hazmat endorsement on your CDL or must obtain one within 60 days of hire.
No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past two (2) years.
No alcohol-related convictions within the last ten (10) years.
Must be able to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate.
Ability to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 75 pounds.

Responsibilities
