Local Delivery Driver (CDL A or B)

About The Position

This role involves delivering products to customers, making an average of 10-12 stops per day. Responsibilities include touching freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service. The driver will accurately count and record product quantities delivered and picked up, complete hazardous material shipping orders in accordance with DOT regulations, and conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Additionally, the role requires identifying the need for timely vehicle repairs and maintenance, building relationships with internal and external customers, and continuously learning about Linde's business operations to support organizational growth.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Proficiency in reading and writing in English.
Two (2) years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from a Truck Driving School.
Valid Class A or B CDL.
Must be 21 years or older.
Must have a hazmat endorsement on CDL or obtain one within 60 days of hire.
No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past two (2) years.
No alcohol-related convictions within the last ten (10) years.
Must be able to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate.
Ability to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

Continuously build knowledge on how Linde’s business operates and succeeds.
