Local Delivery Driver (CDL A or B)

About The Position

This role involves delivering products to customers, making an average of 10-12 stops per day. Responsibilities include touching freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service. The driver will accurately count and record product quantities and styles for deliveries and pickups, complete hazardous material shipping order papers in accordance with DOT regulations, and conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Identifying the need for timely vehicle repairs and maintenance is also a key part of the role. The driver will build relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers to meet business and customer goals, and continuously build knowledge of Linde's business operations and success to contribute to organizational growth.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Proficiency in reading and writing in English.
Two (2) years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from a Truck Driving School.
Valid Class A or B CDL.
Must be 21 years or older.
Currently have a hazmat endorsement on your CDL or must obtain one within 60 days of hire.
No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past two (2) years.
No alcohol-related convictions within the last ten (10) years.
Must be able to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate.
Ability to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 75 pounds.
