About The Position
The Local Class B Route Delivery Driver delivers alcohol to bars, restaurants, and hotels. The driver prepares, loads, unloads, operates, inspects, and cleans the vehicle while following safety precautions. The role involves heavy-touch loading and unloading, receiving payments for delivered goods, and making approximately 15–20 stops per day. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with a start time around 6 a.m.
Requirements
- Class A or Class B license.
- At least one year of driving experience.
- Current medical card.
- Ability to handle the physical demands of the role.
- Route delivery experience is identified as desirable in the posting.
Responsibilities
- Deliver alcohol to bars, restaurants, and hotels.
- Load and unload the trailer; heavy-touch work is required.
- Receive payments for delivered goods.
- Inspect the general condition of the vehicle.
- Prepare, operate, and clean the vehicle while following safety precautions.
- Make approximately 15–20 stops per day.
