About The Position
Earn solid weekly pay, run reliable container miles, and wrap up every shift at home in Chicago. This position offers home daily after every night shift, with regional short-haul lanes spanning Chicago into Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, and Wisconsin. Drivers can expect approximately 1,800 miles per week, with night dispatches. Weekends and holidays are required if on schedule.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- Minimum 6 months of OTR experience within the last year OR 1 full year of driving experience within the last 5 years.
- Graduated from a 120-hour CDL program (no prior experience needed if applicable).
- Pass pre-employment DOT drug screening (urine & hair).
- Live within 25 miles of Chicago, IL (zip code 60608).
Responsibilities
- Run reliable container miles.
- Complete night shifts and return home daily.
- Operate within regional short-haul lanes covering Chicago and surrounding states.
- Handle intermodal dry containers with 100% no-touch freight.
- Perform heavy night drop and hook operations.
