About The Position
This is a local Class A driver position operating a route between Pottsville and Philadelphia. The role involves 100% no-touch freight with live unloads. Drivers will take out pre-loaded trucks and return empty to the origin. The schedule is 5 days a week, including weekends, with an option for a 6th workday. Drivers are home daily.
Requirements
- 6 months of tractor-trailer experience in the last year with only 2 jobs in the past 12 months, OR 3 months' experience in the last 12 months (or equivalent 10-year road background).
- Must have reliable transit for daily yard commutes.
- Must pass pre-employment DOT screening including a hair follicle and urine drug test.
Responsibilities
- Move freight between Pottsville and Philadelphia.
- Handle straightforward no-touch freight.
- Perform live unloads at delivery points.
- Take out pre-loaded trucks and return empty to the origin.
- Operate on a 5-day schedule including weekends, with a 6th workday available when business needs require it.
