About The Position

The purpose of the Driver is to prepare and secure delivery loads, inspection of the vehicle via Daily Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR), and follow a planned route to the destination. The Driver is also responsible for the cleanliness of the vehicle, observing safety procedures regarding Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, Hazmat and power equipment tools. Lastly, the Driver is responsible for completing all other duties assigned.

Requirements

• Valid state issued driver’s license from state of residence (Class A for tractor trailer or Class B for straight truck)
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• For straight truck drivers: verifiable experience or training
• For semi drivers: 2 years verifiable experience driving a tractor-trailer

• Hand-Eye Coordination: The ability to coordinate one's eyes with one's fingers, wrists, or arms to move, carry, or manipulate objects or to perform other job-related tasks.
