About The Position

REIC Rentals (Midway Rentals) is looking for a Local Class A CDL driver for our Belgrade store. This role involves delivering designated equipment, ensuring operators are familiar with the equipment, overseeing safe loading/unloading, and documenting the working condition of equipment. The driver will also be responsible for maintaining the truck's cleanliness and ensuring all inspections (daily, weekly, annual, and DOT) are up-to-date.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL Driver's License
• Manual transmission experience
• Minimum two (2) years of driving experience strongly preferred
• Experience in construction is preferred
• Driving record violation-free for previous three years to include no record of any of the following violations: Driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance, Leaving the scene of an accident, Committing a felony with a motor vehicle, Reckless driving, Excessive speed
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to creatively solve problems
• Self-starter and motivated to provide customer satisfaction
• Ability to stand/sit for extended periods of time
• Ability to perform tasks such as walking, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling and reaching
• Ability to lift 70 pounds for short periods, often several times per day

• Experience with hauling heavy equipment

Responsibilities

• Delivering designated equipment
• Ensuring the operator is familiar with the delivered equipment
• Overseeing the safe loading/unloading of equipment
• Recording and reporting the working condition of delivered and retrieved equipment
• Ensuring the truck is clean
• Performing daily and weekly inspections
• Monitoring and scheduling annual and DOT inspections
• Ensuring pre-trip and post-trip inspections are conducted and documented
• Observing and reporting mechanical and safety failures
• Maintaining all required certifications, inspections, and medical compliance
