About The Position

TA Services is hiring a Local Class A CDL Driver in Greenwood, Indiana. The role combines driving with warehouse support in a fast-paced logistics and transportation environment. The driver transports finished goods and/or raw materials, performs vehicle inspections and light preventative maintenance, follows commercial motor vehicle regulations and company policies, and assists with general operations as needed. Work may take place indoors and outdoors in varying conditions and is physically active, involving movement, lifting, and equipment operation. The driver may also be needed to operate a box truck and Sprinter van. The listed shifts are 1st and 2nd shift. Compensation is listed as $34–$37 per hour, with a $3 shift differential.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL.
Minimum of 2 years of Class A driving experience.
Experience operating commercial motor vehicles and performing inspections.
Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety standards.
Manual transmission experience.
Team-oriented and willing to assist wherever needed.
Strong work ethic, positive and dependable attitude, safety focus, attention to detail, and adaptability.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Warehouse or logistics experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Transport finished goods and/or raw materials safely and efficiently.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, including light preventative maintenance.
Comply with commercial motor vehicle regulations and company policies.
Maneuver trucks safely into loading and unloading positions.
Provide warehouse support and assist with general operations as needed.
