About The Position

REIC Rentals (Aim High Rentals) in Tabernash is hiring a Class A CDL driver experienced with hauling heavy equipment on a local route with an M-F schedule. As a local-route driver, you will be delivering designated equipment and ensuring the operator is familiar with the delivered equipment. Our CDL drivers oversee the safe loading/unloading of equipment and record/report the working condition of delivered and retrieved equipment, ensure the truck is clean and has current daily and weekly inspections, and monitor and schedule annual and DOT inspections as required. REIC Rentals is a fast growing, elite equipment rental company with over 55 locations across N. America. We operate in the NW under several brand names including Midway Rental, Pro Rentals and Sales, Excavator Rental Services, Black Mountain Rental, and Aim High Equipment Rentals.

Requirements

  • Valid Class A CDL Driver's License
  • Minimum two (2) years of driving experience strongly preferred
  • Experience driving as Class A CDL in winter weather conditions and in the construction industry preferred
  • Driving record violation-free for previous three years to include no record of any of the following violations: Driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance, Leaving the scene of an accident, Committing a felony with a motor vehicle, Reckless driving, Excessive speed
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to creatively solve problems
  • Self-starter and motivated to provide customer satisfaction
  • Ability to stand/sit for extended periods of time
  • Ability to perform tasks such as walking, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling and reaching
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds for short periods, often several times per day

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring pre-trip and post-trip inspections are conducted and documented
  • Observing and reporting mechanical and safety failures
  • Maintaining all required certification, inspections, and medical compliance
