Local CDL Class A Driver
About The Position
This position involves the safe and professional operation of a commercial motor vehicle and company equipment, ensuring the courteous delivery of products to local customers. The role requires pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and the secure operation of Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and/or Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as an electric pallet jack and/or hand truck. This is a local route position with a 24/7 environment, requiring flexibility in shifts and schedules, including weekends. The company offers newer fleet and innovative technology, with preloaded trucks and palletized delivery.
Requirements
- 1 plus years of Class A commercial driving experience or equivalent driving experience in the military.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
- Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds.
