About The Position

REIC Rentals in Evans, CO is hiring a Local Class A CDL Driver experienced with hauling heavy equipment. As a local-route driver, you will be responsible for delivering designated equipment and ensuring the operator is familiar with the delivered equipment. You will oversee the safe loading/unloading of equipment, record and report the working condition of delivered and retrieved equipment, ensure the truck is clean and has current daily and weekly inspections, and monitor and schedule annual and DOT inspections as required. Requirements

  • Valid Class A CDL Driver's License
  • Minimum two (2) years of driving experience strongly preferred
  • Experience driving as Class A CDL in winter weather conditions and in the construction industry preferred
  • Driving record violation-free for previous three years to include no record of any of the following violations: Driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance, Leaving the scene of an accident, Committing a felony with a motor vehicle, Reckless driving, Excessive speed
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Always think and act with safety in mind
  • Ability to creatively solve problems
  • Self-starter and motivated to provide customer satisfaction
  • Ability to stand/sit for extended periods of time
  • Ability to perform tasks such as walking, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling and reaching
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds for short periods, often several times per day

Responsibilities

  • Observing and reporting mechanical and safety failures
  • Maintaining all required certification, inspections, and medical compliance
