About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated Class A CDL Driver for our dedicated fleet. This role involves operating within Illinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana, hauling dry van freight for a non-grocery retail chain. Drivers will handle multi-stop loads (3-4 stops per load) and will be responsible for unloading at delivery locations using liftgate trailers and pallet jacks, with occasional hand unloads required. The position offers home time most nights, with occasional 10-hour rest breaks required on the road. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A)
- Minimum 12 months of verifiable CDL-A tractor-trailer experience
- Must live within 50 miles of Chicago, IL
Responsibilities
- Operate a Class A CDL tractor-trailer.
- Transport dry van freight for a non-grocery retail chain.
- Complete multi-stop deliveries (3-4 stops per load).
- Unload freight at delivery locations using liftgate trailers and pallet jacks.
- Perform occasional hand unloads.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery records.
