About The Position

Novick Corporation is a service-oriented food distribution company located in South Philadelphia, specializing in childcare nutrition. We are seeking Local CDL Route Delivery Drivers who are committed to serving our clients and communities. As a route driver, you will be eligible to join the Union and benefit from company-paid benefits, including a fully funded pension plan with 5-year vesting. Our staff also enjoys participation in company events such as awards meetings, holiday dinners, staff appreciation events, farm volunteer opportunities, raffles, contests, and giveaways.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Current CDL license
• At least 2 years’ accident-free driving record
• Good interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to perform tasks requiring considerable use of arms, legs, and torso such as driving, climbing, lifting, reaching, bending, stooping, balancing, and walking
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 60 lbs repetitively throughout the shift
• Ability to frequently move up to 200-lbs with a two-wheel hand truck up and down ramps and in and out of client locations

• Route delivery experience
• Food distribution delivery experience

Responsibilities

• Delivering various temperature-controlled products on scheduled routes
• Verifying the delivery of items with clients through a 3-point check system
