About The Position

We are hiring Local CDL-A Truck Drivers for a dedicated grocery delivery account based near North Hatfield/Hatfield, MA. This full-time position offers consistent freight, daily home time in most cases, early morning start times, and strong earning potential. Drivers will deliver fresh and frozen grocery products to supermarkets and distribution centers within a 350-mile radius of North Hatfield, MA, with frequent deliveries into NYC boroughs and Long Island.

Requirements

  • Valid CDL-A license
  • Minimum of 3 months of trucking experience
  • Ability to safely operate a tractor-trailer in local and regional delivery environments
  • Willingness and ability to deliver into NYC boroughs frequently
  • Ability to work early morning start times and long shifts
  • Ability to assist with unloading using an electric pallet jack after training
  • Reliable transportation to and from the account location
  • Strong safety mindset and compliance with DOT regulations
  • Good customer service and communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Prior local, dedicated, grocery, reefer, or food distribution experience
  • Experience delivering in NYC boroughs, Long Island, or other dense urban areas
  • Multi-stop delivery experience
  • Pallet jack, liftgate, store delivery, or backhaul experience
  • Familiarity with Northeast regional routes

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a CDL-A tractor-trailer with reefer trailers.
  • Deliver fresh and frozen grocery products to supermarkets and distribution centers.
  • Run local and regional routes within approximately 350 miles of North Hatfield, MA.
  • Deliver frequently into NYC boroughs, including Queens, Bronx, Manhattan, Staten Island, and Brooklyn.
  • Complete multi-stop grocery deliveries, averaging approximately 15–20 stops per week.
  • Operate an assigned automatic daycab; trucks cannot be taken home during time off.
  • Assist with unloading using an electric pallet jack after training.
  • Use liftgate equipment when required.
  • Pick up return product or backhauls as assigned.
  • Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and follow customer delivery requirements.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, receivers, dispatch, and onsite management.
  • Follow all DOT, company, safety, and food transportation requirements.
  • Support other local accounts as needed.
