BSD Business ConsultingWest Haven, CT
Onsite

About The Position

We are hiring local CDL-A drivers for a dedicated grocery account. Drivers will start and end their day at the West Haven yard and deliver fresh and frozen grocery products to supermarkets and distribution centers within the regional operating area. This is a home-daily position with consistent freight, steady weekly work, and an activity-based pay plan that rewards safety, efficiency, and productivity. Drivers will operate day cab tractors with 48’, 51’, and 53’ reefer trailers. Freight includes fresh and frozen grocery products delivered throughout Connecticut, the NY Hudson Valley, Long Island, New York, New Jersey, and surrounding backhaul areas, including Pennsylvania. New drivers will not run NYC routes until they have been on the account for 6 months or longer. Before running solo NYC routes, drivers will train with NYC-certified trainers. Only approximately 20–25% of freight delivers into NYC.
