About The Position
We are hiring professional Class A CDL Drivers for a premier dedicated account out of Perryville, MD. This is a dynamic, fast-paced position perfect for drivers who like to stay moving and active rather than just sitting behind the wheel. Enjoy consistent weekly miles, a steady paycheck, and the stability of having two consecutive days off every single week! The Route: Pull freight directly from the Perryville, MD distribution center, executing dedicated regional loops into Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Staten Island, NY, before returning back to the DC. Active Unloading (Touch Freight): This is a multi-stop delivery fleet averaging 10 to 20 stops per week. Drivers are responsible for loading and unloading trailers utilizing company-provided pallet jacks. Night Operations: The fleet operates 24/7. Available dispatch windows start in the evening and early morning hours between 6:00 PM and 1:00 AM.
Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- 3 months solo Verifiable Class A CDL driving experience.
- Physically capable of lifting and pulling up to 75 lbs. routinely to manage pallet jack deliveries.
- Reliable personal transportation to commute daily to the yard.
- Must live within 45 miles of Perryville, MD.
- Must pass a standard DOT physical, drug screen, and background check.
Responsibilities
