About The Position

Slaymaker Rentals is hiring for a dual-role position responsible for safely transporting, delivering, and picking up rental equipment while supporting daily yard operations. The employee will spend approximately 50% of their time as a CDL Class A Driver and 50% as a Yard Technician. The role includes loading and unloading equipment, conducting equipment inspections, cleaning and preparing rental equipment, organizing the yard, and assisting customers with equipment pickups and returns. It requires a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, teamwork, and excellent customer service. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 7 AM to 4 PM, with occasional overtime required. Slaymaker Rentals, founded in 2007, provides rental equipment including lifts, excavators, and backhoes, and emphasizes dependable service, practical solutions, integrity, hard work, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Deliver and pick up rental equipment, tools, and supplies at customer locations.
Load, secure, transport, and unload equipment in accordance with company safety standards.
Navigate residential, commercial, and construction job sites.
Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues.
Verify delivery and pickup details and obtain required documentation or customer signatures.
Inspect, load, and unload machines in accordance with company safety standards.
Transport equipment around the yard, including to and from the wash area, shop, and designated storage locations.
Clean rental, sales, and service equipment using a high-powered pressure wash system.
Assist with refueling equipment.
Safely dispense propane after completing training and certification.
Perform light mechanical work.
Organize the yard and assist customers with equipment pickups and returns.
