About The Position

ECL are seeking a Local Business Manager to motivate, support and lead the Havering Team. The role will require management and leadership skills to enable you and your team to deliver emerging strategies in Havering. You will be responsible for giving direction to employees and volunteers, daily coordination, and development of the services through influencing key stakeholders, with a strong focus on choice and control for customers.

Requirements

• Previous experience of managing and leading a team
• Previous experience of working in health or social care setting
• A proven track record of budget management
• Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively across structural boundaries
• Awareness of market dynamics and emerging opportunities
• Friendly, approachable, supportive and adaptable to change
• Full driving licence and access to a car

Responsibilities

• Giving direction to employees and volunteers
• Daily coordination of services
• Development of services through influencing key stakeholders
• Budget management to deliver a cost-effective service and maximise income opportunities
• Working flexibly and collaboratively across structural boundaries
• Being aware of market dynamics and emerging opportunities and working collaboratively
