Lobby Receptionist (Corrections)
About The Position
The Lobby Receptionist serves as a security checkpoint in the main lobby and an initial point of contact for County employees, vendors, professional affiliates and the general public. The Merrimack County Department of Corrections serves the community and its criminal justice system by providing security, supervision, and assistance to persons remanded to our custody. Our policy is to meet or exceed the standards set by the American Correctional Association, the National Commission of Correctional Healthcare, the New Hampshire Association of Counties, and the Merrimack County Board of Commissioners.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Three years administrative or customer service related experience preferred.
- Any combination of education and experience which demonstrates possession of the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
- A drug screen & background check will be required of all conditional hires.
Responsibilities
- Serves as a security checkpoint in the main lobby.
- Acts as an initial point of contact for County employees, vendors, professional affiliates and the general public.
