This role involves assisting passengers with their baggage, determining flight information, and handling baggage-related claims. The position requires interacting with passengers to understand their needs and ensuring smooth baggage transfer processes.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• No prior experience required and on-the-job training provided
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required

Responsibilities

• Determine flight departure times and connecting carriers based on customer tickets
• Screen all passengers transferring between airlines prior to placing baggage on the return belts
• Ensure baggage tags are correct
• Direct and assist passengers with short-checked bags
• Handle misplace or lost baggage claims and provide reports to carriers
• Evaluate customers' needs concerning airline locations
