About The Position

The Lobby Attendant PM is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the lobby, hallways, elevators, restrooms, and other public areas of the hotel. This role ensures a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness throughout the property, contributing to a positive guest experience. The position requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and good customer service skills. The hotel is located in downtown Indianapolis and offers a strong career growth opportunity in a thriving market. It features 186 rooms and 4,500 sq. ft. of meeting/event space, with amenities including a 24-hour fitness center, indoor pool, restaurant and bar with an outdoor lounge, and complimentary hot breakfast.

Requirements

  • Previous cleaning, janitorial, or housekeeping experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to consistently work the PM shift from 3:00 PM–11:00 PM.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Hospitality environment experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain lobby, hallways, elevators, restrooms, and public areas.
  • Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish surfaces as required.
  • Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
  • Maintain cleanliness and restocking of public restrooms.
  • Ensure all furniture, décor, and fixtures in public areas are clean and tidy.
  • Monitor lobby appearance throughout the shift and address issues promptly.
  • Respond to guest requests and provide assistance courteously.
  • Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to management.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
