Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Strong keyboarding and computer data-entry skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Frequent walking, bending, twisting, and stooping.
  • Frequent lifting of 25 pounds or more and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity required for handling instruments, kits, and equipment.
  • Ability to read fine print on paper documents and computer screens.
  • Ability to work continuously on concrete flooring while standing, walking, bending, and twisting throughout the shift.
  • Vision requirement: 20/20 vision, with or without corrective lenses, to accurately inspect medical devices and identify defects.

  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, ERP systems, and other common business software.
  • Accurately enter, retrieve, and maintain data within electronic systems.
  • Follow written procedures, GMP requirements, detailed work instructions, and handwritten documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Process and maintain loaner kits through inspection, cleaning, replenishment, receiving, documentation, and inventory management activities.
  • Support distribution and non-sterile packaging operations by ensuring loaner kits and medical devices meet quality standards and are accurately tracked within the ERP system.
  • Inspect, clean, and prepare loaner kits for distribution and return.
  • Perform kit replenishment activities to ensure kits are complete and ready for use.
  • Receive and process incoming loaner kits and components.
  • Capture and maintain photographic records within the ERP system.
  • Load and update kit information within the ERP system.
  • Conduct visual inspections of medical devices and instruments to identify defects, damage, or nonconformities.
  • Perform functional checks and cleaning procedures using established inspection criteria and work instructions.
  • Conduct expired product inspections and remove non-compliant inventory as required.
  • Complete receiving, inspection, and replenishment activities accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform instrument maintenance activities, including the use of pin gauges.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers when required.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
