About The Position

Our client is seeking to fill a Loan Workout Portfolio Manager role in the Staten Island, NY area. The position is responsible for overseeing portfolios that are distressed, delinquent, or high-risk commercial loans, developing strategies to maximize recovery and minimize losses. This position comes with a generous salary of up to $135K and full benefits package. (This is not a remote position).

Requirements

3+ years in commercial banking, credit analysis, or special assets/loan workout.
Deep experience with financial analysis.
College degree preferred.
Working knowledge of commercial lending, e.g. commercial real estate, construction and C&I products.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement workout plan to rehabilitate loans or facilitate orderly exits.
Prepare Credit Reviews to assess asset quality, including performance against original underwriting expectations.
Work with legal counsel on bankruptcies, foreclosure actions, and debt restructurings.
Experience writing policies and procedures for collateral monitoring, workouts, and periodic loan reviews.
Report on the assigned portfolio, including asset quality, stress testing, industry and market analysis, asset allocation, reserves, and non-performing loan analysis.
Draft memos for any substantial changes in a borrower's financial stability or ownership structure.
