The Closing Home Loan Document Verification Specialist I acts as a key contributor to facilitate efficient and effective processes that support business and customer service objectives. As the Specialist, your responsibilities may be limited within a specific function/channel or across functions/channels. The Closing Verification Specialist will: Perform routine data entry and validation tasks Initiate third party orders (title, appraisal, hazard, flood cert, credit, etc.) Review and validate loan documents Monitor work queues and intervene as needed Interact with multiple departments to expedite processing and/or issue resolution Perform other related duties as required and assigned Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values Calling banks and title companies/ verifying information/ verifying accounts/ when a loan goes through refi or purchase, will need to verify money is going to correct account or going to the right title companies/ calling lawyers to make sure funds are going to correct people and places/ fraud prevention/ customer service, 50% of the day calling out to companies/ a lot of accounts are on east coast, so will be starting work earlier at 7:30am/ in the afternoon, will start putting title packages together (data entry)
