About The Position

This position provides comprehensive operational support to the Loan Servicing, Loan Underwriting, and Collections departments. The role ensures the integrity of loan documentation, compliance with regulatory requirements, and the ongoing effectiveness of lending operations across the credit union’s loan portfolio.

Nice To Haves

Two years of experience in the field of consumer credit preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform and support core operational functions within the Loan Underwriting, Loan Servicing, and Collections’ departments.
Ensure accurate and complete loan records, including system data, documentation, files, and servicing activities, in accordance with federal and state regulations, investor/insurer guidelines, and Credit Union policies and procedures.
Perform quality control reviews of loan files and servicing activities to ensure compliance, accuracy, and consistency.
Support the Collection department with all required functions including making outbound collections calls.
Perform and ensure core consumer and real estate loans are underwritten according to the credit union’s guidelines.
Participate in and support credit union projects related to loan operations, system enhancements, regulatory changes, and process improvements.
Assist with implementation of new workflows, system updates, and procedural changes.
Conducts every aspect of this position, involving interpersonal relations, in line with the concept that all personnel, staff, shareholders and visitors are afforded full and equal treatment in all matters without regard to race, creed, color, sex, sexual orientation, age, national origin, lawful political affiliation, physical handicap or marital status.
Periodically serves on various credit union committees (i.e. Safety, Social Events, etc.).

Ensures a secure, neat, clean and safe work area.
