To assist members and staff with their loan and service-related requests by providing clerical, administrative and functional support. This role provides processing support for dealer services and the loan department, identifies cross-sell opportunities, and is responsible for finishing consumer loans for consumer loan officers. This includes tasks such as filing and releasing liens, tracking UCCs, creating files, obtaining insurance policies, sending payoffs to other creditors, E Recording, E Oscar/credit bureaus, ordering appraisals and title insurance, working in the imaging system, and handling insurance requirements. The specialist also runs reports and provides basic information, files loan documents with appropriate agencies, completes paid-out/closed loan reports weekly, and mails lien releases. Additionally, the role involves reviewing pledge loans to ensure proper holds and auto transfer payments, checking sub-action exception reports for accuracy, investigating and responding to eOscar reporting disputes, and managing force-placed insurance for Consumer Loans. The specialist also receives and screens telephone calls, answers member questions and complaints professionally, maintains the Credit Union's professional reputation, answers routine questions, records and relays messages, and identifies opportunities to improve operating methods and procedures. The role also involves cross-selling Credit Union services and analyzing potential loan opportunities to promote additional loans and financial services.
