About The Position

The Loan Support Analyst is responsible for servicing a portfolio of participated commercial loans while maintaining alignment with agent bank records and activity. Key responsibilities include processing loan advances, applying payments, completing rollovers and conversions, and resolving past due balances and overpayments. This role also performs reconciliation activities by reviewing agent bank notices and transaction breakdowns and comparing them to internal systems and records to identify and resolve discrepancies. Communication is primarily conducted through email with agent banks, with limited phone interaction. There is little to no direct customer contact. Requirements

  • Associates or equivalent degree as well as related experience or product knowledge to accomplish primary duties.
  • Typically requires 3+ years experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Commercial Loan Operations.
  • Working knowledge of participated/syndicated loan servicing.
  • Experience with ACBS and CLASS/Commercial Lending Servicing Portal (CLSP) preferred.
  • Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Servicing a portfolio of participated commercial loans while maintaining alignment with agent bank records and activity.
  • Processing loan advances, applying payments, completing rollovers and conversions, and resolving past due balances and overpayments.
  • Performing reconciliation activities by reviewing agent bank notices and transaction breakdowns and comparing them to internal systems and records to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Executing varied transactions/processes utilizing standard procedures.
  • Processing and/or reconciling varied and moderately complex transactions in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Partnering with internal and/or external business partners to route communications, documents or other action items to complete transactions.
  • Identifying and potentially resolving exceptions; escalating appropriately.
  • Ensuring the appropriate materials and documentation are available to complete transactions.
  • Providing responses and documentation to inquiries and ad hoc requests.
  • Completing research and providing feedback on workflow and work received.
  • Reviewing transactions and related documents and verifying work processes to ensure completeness, accuracy and conformance to established service levels and applicable policies and procedures.
