About The Position

The Loan Servicing Team Lead (WA) is responsible for leading the setup, boarding, and maintenance functions for some or all of the Bank's loan products. This position will meet completeness, turn time, and accuracy requirements per established service level agreements, and may shift resources and responsibilities among tasks to ensure success. The Loan Servicing Team Lead will also provide supervision, coaching, and training to team members, mentor employees, and develop skills through one-on-one training and coaching. They will maintain awareness of workflow status, adjust staffing as needed, review quality and integrity reports, and take appropriate action. Performance goals and quality service standards will be set and tracked. The role includes monitoring and approving time entries, and is responsible for staffing, including disciplinary issues, tracking of time off, and vacations.

Requirements

  • Advanced personal computer skills with demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Self-starter and works with minimal direction.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal skills and team oriented.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to appropriately escalate issues requiring problem solving and decision making.
  • Ability to resolve complex account issues with little assistance and assist team members.
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
  • 4-6 years experience in a financial institution required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Experience in consumer and commercial loan servicing preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develops relationships across all levels internally and externally.
  • Provides regular updates to team related to corporate, division, department updates, policy, guidelines, procedures, workflow changes, etc.
  • Participates in project related activities as assigned.

  • Ensures all goals and departmental service standards are met.
  • Consistently meets quality and data integrity standards.
  • Recommends improvements and provides input to process improvements, policies, procedures, and technological changes and updates as needed to ensure an effective operating environment.
