About The Position

The Loan Servicing Systems Administrator is responsible for overseeing, supporting, and improving the credit union’s loan servicing platforms across mortgage and consumer lending. This role focuses heavily on systems such as FICS Servicing, Mortgage Accountant, Radstar, and Fiserv DNA. The administrator evaluates technical needs, implements system enhancements, ensures smooth daily operations, and safeguards the accuracy of credit reporting data. They collaborate closely with IT teams, business units, vendors, and project groups to validate system performance, test updates and releases, and contribute to departmental initiatives.

Requirements

  • Possession of a bachelor’s degree in business, Finance or a related field, plus three to five years progressively responsible Mortgage and Consumer Loan Servicing systems administrator experience in the credit union /financial services field preferred.
  • Five to seven years progressively responsible loan servicing systems administrator experience in the credit union/ financial services field.
  • Experience with report creation and analysis using financial systems.
  • Experience with FICS, Fiserv DNA, implementation and maintenance is preferred.
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail and initiative and resourcefulness as a self-starter
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office is required
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Requires strong knowledge in consumer financing, working knowledge of simple interest loans, line of credit cycles, interest accrual, and general lending practices.
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Understands relational database structures and querying principles. Capable of interpreting system data and generating accurate reports using various tools and platforms.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Able to create, analyze, and present data through spreadsheets, flowcharts, and presentations.
  • Effectively communicates technical concepts to both technical and non-technical users. Able to document processes, draft user guides, and explain system changes or procedures clearly.
  • Thorough understanding of loan servicing functions including payment posting, escrow administration, file maintenance, payoff processing, and collateral management.
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of federal lending regulations (e.g., TRID, TILA, RESPA, BSA/AML, OFAC). Maintains compliance when handling loan data, disclosures, and servicing activities.

  • Understands and can apply credit union policies, loan product guidelines

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain core loan servicing systems, including FICS Servicing, Fiserv DNA, Mortgage Accountant, and related applications.
  • Create and execute test plans and validation scripts for system updates, new releases, and added functionality to ensure regulatory compliance and system reliability.
  • Diagnose and resolve system issues, working with IT and vendors to reduce downtime and maintain service continuity.
  • Configure and administer user access, roles, permissions, and system settings to support operational needs and uphold security standards.
  • Develop, update, and maintain system scripts and integrations to improve performance and streamline servicing processes.
  • Monitor credit bureau reporting, identify discrepancies, and ensure data accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Generate customized reports and data extracts for internal teams, audits, and operational analysis.
  • Support or lead disaster recovery planning and testing for all servicing applications.
  • Identify opportunities to automate and optimize loan servicing workflows; design and implement technology-driven improvements.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of servicing procedures, system configurations, testing protocols, and change management activities.
  • Ensure all system changes and servicing operations adhere to internal policies, investor requirements, and state and federal regulations.
  • Provide training and support to users on new system features, updates, and enhancements.
  • Act as a liaison between Loan Servicing and Information Systems for technical planning, troubleshooting, and implementation.
  • Participate in cross‑departmental initiatives and strategic projects that support Tower Federal Credit Union’s operational objectives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
