About The Position

Walden Savings Bank is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Loan Servicing Specialist to join our Loan Servicing team. This role supports the operational functions of our residential, construction, and consumer loan portfolio while ensuring compliance with Bank policies and applicable state and federal regulations.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn banking software systems.

Nice To Haves

• 6 months to 2 years of experience servicing mortgages and consumer loans preferred
• Prior secondary market experience with Freddie Mac and/or Fannie Mae preferred
• Experience with COCC preferred

Responsibilities

• Board new residential, construction, and consumer loans on the Bank's core processing system.
• Fund loans and process construction loan advances accurately and timely.
• Perform quality control reviews to ensure loan documentation and system data are complete and accurate.
• Process loan payments and other servicing transactions.
• Review daily and monthly servicing reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Follow established service standards when communicating with internal departments, customers, attorneys, and other third parties.
• Prioritize multiple tasks and consistently meet deadlines.
• Maintain compliance with Bank policies, procedures, and applicable banking laws and regulations.
• Build positive customer relationships by providing outstanding service and referring customers to appropriate Bank personnel for additional products and services.
