About The Position

Collecting, coordinating and analyzing all required documentation associated with boarding loans originated through Indirect delivery channels. Performs duties in compliance with regulatory requirements including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to operate a personal computer, including full working knowledge and ability to utilize Microsoft Office and other data processing software.
Must have a positive attitude.
Must be self-motivated and able to function independently in a multi-task environment while also taking direction and working as part of a team.
Must possess a high level of integrity, recognizing the need for discretion and confidentiality.
Must be able to tactfully handle all situations and remain impartial.
Must have a collaborative work style.

Nice To Haves

Some financial institution or lending experience is preferred.
Knowledge of Credit Union products and services, particularly as they relate to consumer lending and insurance products, strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Work closely with Dealers and Loan Officers in disbursing Indirect loans. Review and verify all document information and ensure adherence to Avenir Financial FCU credit approvals, policies and established guidelines.
Conduct employment verification, member interviews, collateral verification, address verification, inquires and other investigative follow up verifications as required.
Identify all cross-sell opportunities and actively sell credit union products and services through telephone contact to existing and potential members.
Review income documentation, calculate and verify DTI and LTV ratios to ensure accuracy prior to funding.
Prepare and review proper documentation for completeness and accuracy for the opening of all new accounts available to our members. Scan documents into imaging system.
Compile and review final documents to ensure accuracy as well as that all required signatures have been obtained. Scan documents into imaging system.
Maintain daily contact and work closely with dealerships in Yuma and surrounding areas.
Ensure car kits are mailed to members upon funding of dealer loan.
Act as backup for Loan Servicing Specialist as needed.
Responsible for complying with the Bank Secrecy Act policies and procedures, including attendance at annual training, as directed by the Bank Secrecy Act Officer.

Perform other duties as assigned.
