Requirements
- Minimum one year of experience in Loan Servicing or a Minimum two years of banking or comparable experience required.
Nice To Haves
- High School diploma plus continued education in specialized banking courses is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Performing all duties associated with monitoring homeowner’s insurance coverage on mortgaged properties as well as the payment of real estate taxes.
- Maintain quality control and compliance in the preparation and processing of mortgage and loan payoff documentation.
- Ensure company service standards are continually achieved
- Property insurance tracking functions, follow up on cancellations, and update insurance records & make payments for escrowed properties.
- Prepare loan payoff documentation and mortgage releases within required timeframes and process payoff transactions
- Communicate with closing attorneys for timely processing of payoffs
- Scan documentation as necessary including but not limited to payoff documentation, loan documents, and insurance policies for mortgage, consumer, and commercial loans.
- Assist in department teller transaction processing and balancing functions including auditing of daily mortgage loan exception payment reports
- Assist in daily new mortgage loan set up to servicing system, ensuring integrity of data input.
- Ensure timely processing and payment of escrowed insurance policies
- Ensure activities within assigned functional area of responsibility is in compliance with State and Federal regulations
- Assist and act as back-up in other residential, consumer and commercial loan servicing functions as needed
