About The Position

The Loan Servicing Clerk is responsible for assisting and ensuring the accuracy of data entered on the computer system for all loans as well as ensuring prompt and accurate processing of loan documents, payments, and other bank transactions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Working knowledge of computers and proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Excellent customer service skills for both external and internal customers
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and well organized

Responsibilities

• Review, process, upload, and maintain all consumer, residential, and commercial loans
• Electronically archive all loan documents
• Monitor and disburse escrowed insurance and tax payments
• Maintain various tracking systems/tickler reports
• Prepare and send customer notices, as necessary
• Balance loan-related general ledger accounts
• Work with both customers and co-workers to resolve any inquiries
• Work with third-party vendors such as attorneys, insurance providers, and auto dealers
