About The Position

This is the entry-level position for a Loan Servicer. Under direct supervision, the Loan Servicer I is responsible for booking various loans, including HELOCs, Consumer Loan Division, and Commercial RRLOC. The role involves managing loan prioritization, organization, and booking simple loans, which includes funding and filing documents. The position requires timely booking of loans to the system, meeting service level agreements, and adhering to established processes. A key responsibility is maintaining a quality control audit threshold not exceeding 10% after six months of employment. The role also involves developing and maintaining good rapport with internal departments, assisting with special projects, and becoming familiar with Alpine Bank Loan Policy, Documentation, and Compliance requirements. Regular and reliable on-site attendance is mandatory.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of financial lending.
  • Knowledge of basic bookkeeping skills.
  • Strong detail orientation, multi‐tasking skills, and organizational skills enabling the individual to work at a fast pace.
  • Ability to communicate information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Familiar with computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe Pro.
  • Skill and ability to respond promptly to customer needs.
  • Understands the importance of confidential information.
  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

  • A minimum of one (1) year working as a Loan Assistant or Loan Maintenance department at a financial institution.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year to year basis.

Responsibilities

  • Works through loan prioritization, organization and booking simple loans including the funding and filing of documents.
  • Books loans to the system in a timely manner, meeting service level agreements with help from staff and following established processes that are created by their Supervisor.
  • Quality Control Audits conducted on files should not exceed 10% threshold, after 6 months of hire date.
  • Develops and maintains a good rapport and communicate effectively with internal departments.
  • Assists with special projects as assigned and/or time allows.
  • Becomes familiar with Alpine Bank Loan Policy, Documentation and Compliance requirements for all types of loans.
  • Regular and reliable on-site attendance is required as an essential function of this position.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
