About The Position

The Loan Sales Officer will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new loan customers, promoting and selling the bank's loan products, conducting credit assessments, and ensuring compliance with policies. This role requires a target-driven individual with strong sales and customer relationship management skills.

Requirements

• Minimum of OND/HND/B.Sc in any relevant discipline
• Proven experience in sales, preferably in banking or microfinance
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Target-driven with a passion for sales
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good knowledge of the local market and business environment
• Sales and marketing skills
• Customer relationship management
• Credit analysis (basic level)
• Result-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new loan customers through field marketing and referrals
• Promote and sell the bank’s loan products to individuals and businesses
• Conduct credit assessments and ensure proper documentation of loan applications
• Follow up on loan disbursements and repayments
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions
• Ensure compliance with the bank’s credit policies and procedures
• Meet and exceed assigned sales targets
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business
