Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience as a Mortgage Processor
  • Experience with Conventional, Jumbo, Construction-to-Perm, Bond, Renovation and Government lending programs
  • Wage Earner and Self-Employed income calculation experience is required
  • Encompass experience
  • High School Diploma
  • Advanced Computer Skills

Responsibilities

  • Processes conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, Bond, Jumbo, Construction-to-Perm, renovation loans and brokered loans.
  • Provides high customer service, communicating often and accurately with borrowers and other professionals.
  • Exhibits high ethical and compliance standards.
  • Manages time effectively and demonstrates strong organizational skills.
  • Ensures all deadlines are met, including contingency, closing, and lock expiration.
  • Builds strong relationships with Sales Partners, Underwriting, and Closing peers.
  • Reviews and analyzes credit files, including income, assets, contract, and disclosures.
  • Calculates various income types: wage earner, SSN, Disability, Schedule C Self Employed, Complex Self Employed with multiple businesses, Dividend & Interest income, Capital Gains income, P&L income, Multiple property rental income.
  • Manages a target caseload of 32 - 37 loans.
  • Possesses effective problem-solving skills.
