About The Position

The Loan Processing Associate assists customers with consumer loan inquiries and maintains a basic working knowledge of lending products and services. The role supports loan processing and servicing by preparing documents, processing applications and transactions, assisting with loan closings, and researching current loan histories. It also involves interviewing customers about loan details, answering questions, typing loan contracts, preparing reports, and maintaining satisfactory service levels for call volumes and document preparation. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

At least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong and accurate typing and data entry skills.
Strong PC knowledge.
Good phone etiquette and customer service skills.
Ability to organize and prioritize.
Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
Ability to get along with coworkers and work effectively in a team environment.
Must successfully pass a background investigation and drug screen according to company policy.
Must be able to remain in a sitting stationary position for extended periods of time.
Must constantly operate a computer and other office machinery.
Ability to lift 25 pounds.
