About The Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Loan Origination Specialist to support our Mortgage Originators throughout the residential mortgage loan process. This role is responsible for providing administrative, operational, and customer support while helping ensure a smooth and efficient experience for borrowers from application through closing.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative support experience in a mortgage lending environment.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience supporting Mortgage Originators preferred.
- Working knowledge of mortgage loan documentation and loan origination systems, including Encompass, preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support Mortgage Originators by managing loan files and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Assist borrowers throughout the mortgage application process and provide exceptional customer service.
- Request, collect, review, and upload required loan documentation.
- Monitor loan pipelines and help ensure applications move efficiently through the lending process.
- Coordinate with Mortgage Originators, Processors, and internal partners regarding file status and outstanding conditions.
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide coverage when Mortgage Originators are unavailable.
- Assist with CRM management, customer follow-up, and other marketing and business development activities.
